Development
A medium-sized training service provider came to an initial consultation with Power Doc 365 without an effective risk recording system for its information security management system (ISMS). The existing deficits and requirements of the company were identified and the basis for the development of a suitable solution was created in a detailed requirements workshop.
Power Doc 365 initially developed a prototype for a Power App for risk recording. Once the prototype had been approved by the company, the actual implementation of the project began in close collaboration with the company. A connector to Jira Service Management was implemented using a REST API to enable the integration of risk recording into the existing management system. In addition, the previous data was migrated from SharePoint MVP to Dataverse, which ensured optimised and more secure data management. In addition, Power BI reporting was integrated to create detailed data analyses and reports.
The development was accompanied by a comprehensive test phase to ensure functionality and seamless integration with Jira. Once the tests had been successfully completed, the new solution was rolled out and put into productive operation. The resulting app now offers automated risk recording and considerably simplifies the management of risks in the ISMS. This has enabled the training service provider to organise its security processes more efficiently and effectively.
